Hello, 

My name is Bonnita and I am a Sussex artist, in Brighton, creating exquisite works of the South Downs and the South Downs National Park.

Since my early teens, I have been drawn to nature, and my passion then as it is now, is to be out and about exploring, sketching and painting the great outdoors.  It is exciting to be 'on the spot' capturing ever changing scenes, moods and seasons of the iconic South Downs in Sussex, and satisfying also to create more detailed works in the studio

You said how much this landscape meant to you when you visited my Brighton Open House in May. Thank you for all the great conversations; I learnt new things about this chalkland area, have fresh views and walks to discover and new wildflowers to look out for along the way.

I am busy sketching and painting on the hills often around Devil's Dyke and Ditchling Beacon, and along the South Downs Way, and an exciting new collection of works is emerging.
