Thank you to everyone who came to my first Brighton Artist Open House exhibition this year to explore the South Downs via my paintings. It was wonderful to see so many visitors, it was even more amazing to have been, unbeknown to me, awarded Highly Commended by judges, coming 2nd in the 'Artist of the Year', category out of 1000 artists and 180 houses.

It was a great start to my painting career in Sussex, having previously painted the North Downs in Surrey, and also been awarded Highly Commended, Surrey Artist of the Year.  It was my third solo 'sell out' exhibition, with 18 exquisite paintings as well as limited edition now in homes, in London, Chicago, Hampshire, Surrey and Kent, and of course Sussex.
